Špela Urbas

I am driven by a love of languages, a desire to help, and the energy for something new at all times. I enjoy my profession.

I am continually perfecting my skills and upgrading my knowledge. This is one of the best features of my profession: continual learning and the ongoing deepening of my knowledge. I use this knowledge to help others, and I am happy to share it. I am an active member of the Slovene Association of Conference Interpreters (since 2003) and a member of AIIC – International Association of Conference Interpreters (since 2009). Since 2004, I have been an accredited freelance interpreter for EU institutions.

I believe that everything we do must be done in the best way possible. Talent is not enough. In my services, the guarantees of success are professionalism, flexibility, patience and attention to detail.

Interpreters are always in the background, almost invisible, but we are indispensable for the successful organisation of an international event.
